Goodreads synopsis:
From National Bestselling author Jennifer Fischetto comes a hauntingly humorous short Christmas tale...
While Gianna Mancini longs for a cozy family Christmas back home, this year her cousin, Claudia, is getting married, and Gianna is the maid of honor. Having to spend the holiday in another state may have Gianna a bit blue, but when Claudia runs off the night before her nuptials, Gianna is determined to find her.
To complicate things Gianna has a rare gift...she sees dead people. Reluctantly teaming up with gorgeous, P.I. Julian Reed, and her cranky dead Aunt Stella, Gianna sets out to catch her runaway bride cousin, find the sender of a cryptic love note, and track down a list of Claudia's ex-boyfriend—the "ghosts" of her love life past, present, and possibly future.

This is a very short novella in the Gianna Mancini mystery series by Jennifer Fischetto.
This type of book just teases us. It is only 25 pages and there isn’t a lot that can happen in such a short novella. I wish this had been expanded a lot and we got to see more of Claudia and why she suddenly felt like her betrothed wasn’t “the one.”
I haven’t read a lot of other books in this series, so I may be speaking out of turn. But the way it is written, I don’t see the point of writing this book. Nothing was really accomplished in the end. We didn’t get a deeper look into the characters or some aspect of a previous book that needed to be elaborated on.
I wanted more. I feel like this author could give that to me burt not with the book how it is now.
