4 stars This is the sixth book in the A Bread Shop mystery by Winnie Archer. I am not sure what my problem was but I had a bit of a tough time getting into this book. I don’t think I found my stride until about 20% in. It has been awhile since I read a Bread Shop mystery and I think I just had to catch my breath and discover where are the characters were now in relation to the last book I remembered reading. The book starts off with Em and Billy’s wedding. And since Em is the law enforcement person and she is off on her honeymoon, Ivy begins to dig into the mystery that unfolds. Once you get into it, this is a pretty good read. The mystery was well-crafted and the cast was easy to resonate with. Definitely a great series to dig into. Definitely pick this up if you are a cozy mystery lover.
