This is the sixth book  in the Beyond the Page Bookstore mysteries by Lauren Elliott.

I enjoyed this book a lot. I did miss the in town setting we normally see. But I thought the relationship between Addie and Mark was much better in this one. Usually, Mark seems overly hostile toward Addie which was something I could never figure out. This was a more laid back Mark. Loved that aspect.

The mystery was reminiscent of Ten Little Indians/And Then There Were None, as far as the setting went. The story was set on a yacht and most of the cast didn’t stray from there for most of the storyline. I liked the whole “not really a first edition” plot which circled back to one of the first books in this series where a stolen first edition was featured.

This is definitely a series you want to read in order just so you get to know who is who and what the cast is like. The cast is the best part of this and I always look forward to a Lauren Elliott book for just that reason. She creates the homeyness of community like few others do.

This is a great series to marathon. 

This mystery was the most satisfying to me. I think it was the fact that Mark lightened up and the book aspect was featured more. 

If you like cozy mysteries, definitely check this one out. You won’t be disappointed.
