Author Bio: Julie Mulhern is the USA Today bestselling author of The Country Club Murders. She is a Kansas City native who grew up on a steady diet of Agatha Christie. She spends her spare time whipping up gourmet meals for her family, working out at the gym and finding new ways to keep her house spotlessly clean-and she's got an active imagination. Truth is-she's an expert at calling for take-out, she grumbles about walking the dog and the dust bunnies under the bed have grown into dust lions."

5 stars

Book three in the Country Club Murders series does not disappoint. This one is just as addicting as the rest. Another reviewer dubbed it “swoon-worthy” and I surely agree.

Ellison’s mother is planning some lavish party. Then her mother’s house springs a leak and they cannot have it at the original venue. So Ellison’s mother does what she does best, she forces her daughter to have it at her house. This event  is for a woman her mother does not reveal to her daughter. Fore if she did, Ellison would surely tell her mother to “sit on it” like the Fonz from Happy Days.

All sorts of chaos ensues after this party. Someone fire bombs her house, there is poison added to the picture as well as a few well-timed gun shots. This book has just the right mix of humor and mystery to keep anyone interested. I hope to see this as a tv series one day. It is one of my fondest wishes.

If you love all those cop shows from the 70’s, cop shows in general or anything that is mystery related. You will love this. Check it out.

I paid for this with my own money.
