This is the first novella/prequel in the Cat Latimer mystery series by Lynn Cahoon.
I thought this book was good but I definitely think the topic needed a much longer book. This was a fun read and it gave us more insight on where Cat was before she found herself in book one. Her relationship with her mom is a bit daunting and it is good to see them getting along at some points and i like how she comes to her mom’s defense and tries to find the killer to exonerate her.
Definitely a fun but short read that i totally recommend. This series is awesome.
