This is the first book in the Kitchen Witch mysteries series by Lynn Cahoon.

I knew when I picked this up and saw it was Lynn Cahoon that I would love this. This is a new area for Cahoon. Now she is delving into a witchy cozy with culinary themes. What a great combo!

This story really captivated me. I had read the teaser novella that came before this story. Definitely check it out for some much needed back story. It’s called Chili Cauldron Curse.

The mystery was great and it totally holds your attention. Plus, I love a good witchy story with cozy themes. I am definitely hooked on Mia Malone and her Kitchen Witch series. Magic Springs might be my new favorite place to be.

If you like cozy mysteries, definitely check this one out. You won’t be disappointed.
