A Vacation to Die For by Lynn Cahoon

A Vacation to Die For (A Tourist Trap Mystery, #14)A Vacation to Die For by Lynn Cahoon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoy this series. Tourist Trap mystery is one of my all time favorites. I was sad to see not much Toby in this one or Jill's Aunt. But the whole concept of the story really keep me guessing and I enjoyed all the community interaction. Reading this series is always like coming home. I can't recommend it enough.

Pink Lemonade Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke

Pink Lemonade Cake Murder (Hannah Swensen, #29)Pink Lemonade Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another great read by Joanne Fluke. She never disappoints. This book features the death of a local boy who went to the big leagues but kinda got a bad reputation and he causes someone Lake Eden to off him when he was back to dig his glory in their faces. I totally missed Mike in this bookings he was considering designing from the police force and had a secondary storyline off camera. I am not sure how I would enjoy a Hannah Swensen book without him. But I have t to admit I am Team Norman all the way. Definitely a great story that was a bit of a page turner. Check it out.

Four Charming Spells by Lynn Cahoon

Four Charming Spells (Kitchen Witch Mysteries, #4)Four Charming Spells by Lynn Cahoon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed the interactions between the characters in this installment of the kitchen witch series. You can definitely see growth here as tough decisions have to be made by Mia and Christine. I enjoyed the wards and the complications there plus the secondary plotline. It all came together in a nice cozy mystery you just can't seem to get enough of.

Cinnamon Twisted by Ginger Bolton

Cinnamon Twisted (Deputy Donut Mystery, #7)Cinnamon Twisted by Ginger Bolton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this latest Deputy Donut mystery. Emily was investigating the murder of one of her new customers. The police chief was a bit untoward in this story and I had a hard time figuring out whodunit. Definitely a great story that keeps you guessing and turning the pages. Plus don't miss the sweet scene at the end

Chasing the Knight by Brittney Sahin

Chasing the Knight (Stealth Ops #6)Chasing the Knight by Brittney Sahin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed following the team in this book but it did seem to span a number of years which was different than other books in this series. I have been going through a lot of stuff in my life and the circumstances here helped me sort out things as the characters went through their trials. I did find this book to be a bit too long but I still enjoyed the read. Definitely a great series to follow.

Christmas Cookie Murder by Leslie Meier

My review: 4 stars

I enjoyed this book. It did freak me out a bit but my mindset has been on losing my dad so some things did trigger me but it helped me heal as I read what Lucy went through. It's funny how certain books can help your mind figure out movement forward in your life. It took me a minute to get into the book but like all of Leslie's books, it was a great read.

Christmas Dessert Murder by Joanne Fluke 20 & 23

My review 4 stars

This book contains two different Christmas stories: Christmas Caramel Murder and Christmas Cake Murder. One I had read where a gal died who was not a popularly and Lisa was a suspect. The other featured a cool historical perspective of past events in a woman's life and how Hannah and her friends figured it out. Both great stories I enjoyed.
